EP-SCORE AI Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the EP-SCORE AI Android application (“EP-SCORE AI”, “the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the app.
1. Information You Enter
EP-SCORE AI allows users to enter clinical information and calculator variables in order to identify supported electrophysiology-related clinical scores and perform deterministic calculations.
Clinical text and calculator inputs are processed locally on the user's device for the current release. The app does not transmit these clinical inputs to an external AI server for analysis.
2. Personal and Health Data
The app is designed to work without requiring a user account. Users should not enter directly identifying patient information such as patient names, national identification numbers, addresses, telephone numbers, or other unnecessary identifiers.
Any health-related information entered into the app should be limited to the minimum information required for the selected clinical calculator or local clinical-assistant function.
3. Data Collection and Sharing
In the current release, EP-SCORE AI does not intentionally collect, sell, rent, or share users' clinical input data with third parties for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
The app does not use clinical input data to train a remote artificial intelligence model. Score calculations are performed using deterministic calculator logic after local input extraction.
4. Files and Sharing Features
If you use a device file or sharing function provided by the app, the requested content may be handled by your Android operating system and by the destination app or service that you choose. Such sharing occurs only when initiated by the user. Information shared with another app or service is then subject to that third party's privacy practices.
5. Data Storage and Retention
EP-SCORE AI does not maintain a remote database of the clinical text or calculator inputs entered into the current release. Information that remains on the device is subject to the device's own storage, backup, security, and deletion settings.
6. Security
We use a local-processing architecture intended to reduce unnecessary transmission of clinical information. However, no software or device can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate device access controls and for complying with applicable institutional and legal requirements when handling clinical data.
7. Medical Use
EP-SCORE AI is intended as a clinical decision-support and educational calculator tool. It does not replace professional medical judgment, diagnosis, treatment decisions, applicable clinical guidelines, or emergency medical evaluation.
8. Children
EP-SCORE AI is intended for use by healthcare professionals and other appropriate adult users. The app is not directed to children as consumers and does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made.
